Organisation - How?

I thought I'd start this page to gain some feedback on the best way forward to organise the information we have on here. Currently, it's vaguely split out into model, and then marks (eg, Mondeo Mk1, Mondeo Mk2, Mondeo Mk3 etc etc). We also have a lot of other categories, such as Mondeo V6, Mondeo Electrical etc etc. Is this useful, or a duplication of information?

There are two ways that I can see, working in a hierarchical order.

Firstly:

Mondeo

-Mondeo Mk1

-Mondeo Mk2

-Mondeo Mk3

-Mondeo Mk4

Focus

-Focus Mk1

-Focus Mk2

Fiesta

-Fiesta Mk1

-Fiesta Mk2

etc etc etc (pretty much what we have now), but no other surplus categories, like Mondeo V6, Mondeo Electrical etc.

Or secondly:

Mondeo

-Mondeo Mk1

--Electrical

--Mechanical

--ICE

--Aesthetics

-Mondeo Mk2

--Electrical

--Mechanical

--ICE

--Aesthetics

-Mondeo Mk3

--Electrical

--Mechanical

--ICE

--Aesthetics

-Mondeo Mk4

--Electrical

--Mechanical

--ICE

--Aesthetics

Focus

-Focus Mk1

--Electrical

--Mechanical

--ICE

--Aesthetics

Focus

-Focus Mk2

--Electrical

--Mechanical

--ICE

--Aesthetics

etc etc for all the other Ford models. There may be another way forward you'd like to add into the pot, please suggest. I would like to sort out the categorisation once and for all, as I've got a lot of content I also wish to add! --monkeyra 11:41, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
