Hi,

I have a mondeo 53 tdci 2.0 started with flashing glow plug light,changed cam sensor, run for a while then completely died. Changed crankshaft sensor carturns over but does not fire. I connected a hose to the fuel manifold and diesel is getting through ok, but car will not start.

I have seen some code readers on ebay which are OBD2 compliant, does anybody know if a 53 plate is compliant.

If you have any other suggestions as to what might be the cause please let me know.
