How to remove the heater and radio surround

First thing to do is to remove radio. If it's a Ford radio, make sure you have the code for it!

The ash tray and cigar lighter surround - just pull them off.

Next you need to remove the six screws that are marked in the picture below:

Then open the centre armrest and you should see three large screws - remove them:

Now you need to pull the whole centre console back to give some room.

Now that you have some room to move there are two screws holding the radio surround in place. See the picture below: the screws are on either side.

You should now be able to pull the radio surround out enough to get your hand behind it and unplug everything! Now the whole surround should be free and you can now remove it.
